Optical excellence: The Summicron zoom lens and triple RGB laser

The optical heart of the Leica Cine Compact 1 is the renowned Summicron zoom lens . Combined with native 4K resolution and a high-precision triple RGB laser, the lens delivers depth of field and detail resolution comparable to professional cinema projection. The proprietary Leica Image Optimization (LIO™) calibrates colors, contrast, and gradations in real time to ensure absolutely natural, artifact-free color reproduction.

Complemented by state-of-the-art high-dynamic-range standards such as HDR10+ and Dolby Vision , the system achieves extreme contrast ranges and deep black levels. Nuances in dark image sequences remain fully detailed, while peak brightness is rendered powerfully and precisely.

Intuitive 360° rotation system and automated setup

The Cine Compact 1 breaks with traditional setup constraints. Its integrated 360° rotation system allows for completely free alignment of the light path – whether vertically onto the ceiling or horizontally onto the wall, directly from the center of the room or discreetly from peripheral positions. Thanks to fully automatic algorithms, the image adjusts itself within seconds after every change of position.

Autofocus & Motorized Zoom: Guarantee an instant, razor-sharp image.

Automatic keystone correction: Mathematically corrects trapezoidal distortions at oblique projection angles.

Intelligent screen framing: Detects the projection surface and seamlessly fits the image into the intended frame.

Based on the VIDAA platform, the Cine Compact 1 offers native access to leading streaming services such as Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon Prime Video. Reference-level connectivity is ensured by dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and seamless integration into existing smart home environments via Apple AirPlay . Multi-view functionality allows for the simultaneous display of parallel signal sources, while dedicated profiles and parental controls enable customized administration.

Sustainable design and mechanical perfection

True to Leica's design philosophy, the Cine Compact 1's housing is reduced to the essentials. Crafted from solid aluminum and finished with a precisely fitted glass front, the timeless design integrates sculpturally into sophisticated living spaces. The thermal management system and semiconductor laser light source are designed for maximum durability, offering up to 25,000 hours of maintenance-free operation.

To protect the eyes, the system uses diffuse reflection projection: The light is emitted gently off the wall instead of shining directly into the eyes, guaranteeing fatigue-free vision even during extended sessions. An included adapter also ensures full compatibility with the optional Leica Floor Stand 1.

A well-thought-out usage concept includes transport. The Cine Compact 1 is delivered in a lightweight, mechanically robust, and fully recyclable EPP transport case . This reliably protects the sensitive optics and the aluminum chassis during relocation.
