The UltraNero4s is the result of a consistent further development of the proven Nero4s technology and sets new standards in the high-end 4K/HDR projection sector. High-quality ceramic components ensure exceptional thermal stability and optimal damping, thus meeting the highest technical requirements. Few projectors achieve the performance that SIM2 has defined for this top-of-the-line model.

Through targeted optimizations, the rainbow effect was reduced to a minimum, while impressively quiet operation was achieved despite the very high light output. The fully motorized lens is virtually unrivaled in its class: with a resolution of over 95 line pairs per millimeter, it is the best optics SIM2 has ever incorporated into a projector.

The UltraNero4s is based on components and development experience from the UltraNero Duo. A new generation of lasers and comprehensive hardware optimizations in the light path not only increase brightness and in-image contrast, but also significantly reduce unit-to-unit variation. In parallel, the software has been completely adapted to the new hardware to optimally utilize the increased light output for HDR content. The cooling system has also been redesigned to further improve the already quiet operation. The outstanding lens of the UltraNero4 has been deliberately retained.

New features and technical advancements

Optimized light path and new laser generation
A new generation of lasers enables higher brightness while guaranteeing long-term stability of up to 25,000 operating hours. Additionally, reduced manufacturing tolerances ensure consistent performance across different production batches. Optimizations in the light path further increase ANSI contrast and guarantee its stability in series production.

Improved HDR processing
New HDR curves, tailored to the increased brightness of the new laser boards, ensure more precise and powerful HDR image processing.

Advanced digital corrections
Digital zoom, shift, keystone, and corner correction can be used simultaneously without restrictions. This makes UltraNero4s suitable even for demanding installation environments.

Storing digital corrections
Up to five different combinations of digital corrections can be stored in the lens memory and recalled at the touch of a button – ideal for changing installation scenarios.

Enhanced “Extreme Black” feature
Laser deactivation for completely black image content can now be used with all input signals.

New SDR display modes SIM2-1 and SIM2-2
Two new picture modes for SDR content integrate specially tuned SIM2 color corrections and further improve picture quality.

Optimized Dynamic Black with separate storage
The Dynamic Black and Extreme Black algorithms have been further refined. Settings can now be saved separately for SDR and HDR modes to ensure the best possible image quality at all times.

Intelligent cooling system management
A new control algorithm ensures more efficient cooling performance with even lower noise levels.

HDR Mastering Peak Display (Nits)
The nit value of the HDR mastering can now be accessed directly in the projector's information menu.

Revised menu system
Corrections to language translations and a standard deactivation of the audio level of the integrated speakers ensure optimized user guidance.
