The Nagaoka MP-700 is a high-quality MM (Moving Permalloy) cartridge for discerning vinyl enthusiasts. Thanks to advanced Moving Permalloy technology, the MP-700 uses a particularly lightweight permalloy element on the stylus cantilever. This design significantly reduces moving mass and enables significantly freer, more sensitive tracking of the record groove – for clearer, more dynamic, and detailed sound reproduction .

Inside, a precisely crafted boron stylus is combined with a micro-ridged bare diamond (0.12 x 3.0 mil). This combination ensures maximum tracking accuracy, improved channel separation, and particularly high-resolution reproduction – even with complex musical passages.

As the flagship of the MP series, the MP-700 cartridge is equipped with the softest damper in the series. Combined with a specially developed pivot point system, the stylus remains stable and controlled at all times – even under the most demanding conditions. The result: precise bass, natural midrange, and brilliant highs.

The robust pickup housing made of ultra-duraluminum has a triple surface finish (nickel, black tin, insulating protective layer), which reduces electrostatic charge, increases service life and ensures an elegant appearance.
