Shibata diamond for maximum contact

At the heart of the system is a highly polished Shibata diamond stylus, whose slim profile allows for a particularly wide contact area with the groove walls. The result is outstandingly precise reproduction across the entire frequency spectrum – including the finest high-frequency details.

Technology for the highest demands

The 2M Black uses a specially developed motor with Ortofon's proprietary split pole piece technology, complemented by a winding of silver-plated copper wire. This design reduces distortion and maximizes sonic purity.
