At its core is 100% analog signal processing with discrete audio components and precise switching elements. Digital control serves solely for convenient operation and does not interfere with the actual audio signal path. This ensures exceptionally clean, direct, and detailed playback. Three independent phono inputs allow for the simultaneous integration of multiple cartridges or turntables, while two additional line inputs can accommodate further analog sources.

The Gold Note PH-1000 LINE demonstrates its remarkable flexibility, particularly in its compatibility with MM and MC cartridges. Gain, load impedance, and capacitance are extensively configurable, allowing for precise tuning to a wide variety of cartridges. More than 40 analog EQ curves, including individually configurable memory slots, offer further diverse possibilities for optimally equalizing different pressings. Supported options include RIAA, Decca London, and Columbia, among others. This allows the PH-1000 LINE to be very precisely tailored to the specific record collection and the analog system being used.

The integrated Class A line preamplifier significantly expands the range of applications. Power amplifiers or active loudspeakers can be connected directly and controlled via the preamplifier. Volume control is conveniently managed via the display and the SKC one-knob control. Alternatively, the PH-1000 LINE can be operated in fixed STAGE mode, allowing for flexible integration into various system configurations.

The Gold Note PH-1000 LINE also boasts exceptional versatility in its features. Stereo/mono switching, phase inversion, channel swapping, and a switchable subsonic filter allow for precise adaptation to various recordings and system configurations.
