Maximum stability and vibration damping

A powerful turntable requires a reliable foundation. The SL-1210MKX utilizes a heavy cast weight for a lowered center of gravity, while newly designed damping feet effectively isolate shocks and vibrations. The plinth features a highly rigid, two-layer construction with fiberglass-reinforced plastic. Complemented by a cast aluminum, two-layer platter with damping rubber, unwanted resonances are consistently suppressed.

Precise direct drive and first-class S-tonearm

The slow-speed direct-drive motor guarantees high torque, precisely consistent speeds, and exceptional ease of maintenance. The statically balanced, S-shaped tonearm with high-precision bearings ensures flawless groove tracking. Scratch DJs benefit from maximum tracking accuracy and minimal stylus skip. A special screw plate on the tonearm also guarantees a rock-solid headshell fit.

Enhanced performance features for creative DJ sets

The intuitive control panel opens up completely new design possibilities on stage:

Extended pitch range: In addition to the standard ±8% and ±16%, steps of ±4% and extreme ±50% are available – protected against accidental skipping. A convenient reset button with a half-press function complements the tempo control.

Individual motor adjustment: Thanks to modern digital motor control, torque and braking speed can each be adjusted separately in four stages.

Flexible operation: In addition to reverse playback, the turntable also supports playback at 78 rpm.

Thoughtful club details: The LED lighting for the stylus tip is anti-reflective and can be switched between red and blue. An enlarged grounding clamp facilitates quick and secure cabling at the DJ booth.
