Two versions for different systems

The DV 20X2A phono cartridge is available in two versions: 20X2A-L (low output model) and 20X2A-H (high output model). Depending on the requirements of your audio system, you can choose between these two variants:

20X2A-H (High Output Model): This model achieves an output voltage of 2.8 mV thanks to Dynavector's advanced winding technology. By using ultra-fine wire that is wound several times, this cartridge can produce a high output voltage comparable to that of a moving magnet (MM) cartridge. This allows the MC cartridge to be connected directly to a PHONO input for MM without the need for an additional preamplifier or transformer.

20X2A-L (Low Output Model): This model offers an output voltage of 0.3 mV and uses the same PCOCC wires as the higher-end models for the coil winding. The recommended preamplifier load resistance is 30O or more, ensuring compatibility with most preamplifiers and MC transformers.
