The Clearaudio Compass GT bridges the gap between the fascination of classic analog technology and the aesthetics of modern gaming culture. Developed in cooperation with "the sound of gaming by konsolenfan.de", this turntable combines meticulous craftsmanship from the Erlangen-based manufacturer with a visual concept that is both a tribute and a high-fidelity standard.
Precision manufacturing and uncompromising hi-fi technology
Since 1978, Clearaudio has stood for uncompromising analog playback quality. Beneath the plinth of the Compass GT lies a precision-engineered bearing, which, in combination with the specially developed T1 tonearm and a precisely matched MM cartridge, ensures maximum tracking accuracy. Electronic speed switching at the touch of a button allows for seamless switching between 33 and 45 RPM. Whether complex orchestral arrangements, analog rock classics, or dynamic video game soundtracks on vinyl: the Compass GT delivers a detailed, clear, and natural sound.
Aesthetics & Function: Pixel Design and RGB Atmosphere
The striking housing, made of medium-density fiberboard (MDF), reinterprets the pixelated look of the 1980s with high-quality craftsmanship. A visual highlight is the integrated RGB LED lighting beneath the transparent acrylic platter: it can be continuously dimmed and adjusted to virtually any nuance to suit individual hi-fi or gaming setups. This allows visual atmosphere and analog sound culture to merge seamlessly.
Plug & Play at a high-end level
The Clearaudio Compass GT is delivered fully assembled and ready to play (plug & play). The tonearm and cartridge are finely adjusted at the factory, so it can be set up without any lengthy adjustments.
