This premium analog set combines the Typhoon NEO turntable, the TA-7000 NEO tonearm, and the MCX4 moving-coil cartridge into an uncompromising solution for audiophile vinyl enthusiasts. Each component is designed for the highest precision, dynamics, and detail to deliver a sonically homogeneous and vibrant listening experience.

DRIVE – TYPHOON NEO

The Typhoon NEO sets standards in the high-end class of mass-loaded turntables. With three integrated, fully isolated AC motors and external digital motor control DMC-20 including AVC Level 2 technology, it achieves exceptional smoothness combined with explosive dynamics.

The high-precision DTD® bearing with diamond-coated spindle ensures stable rotation, while 24 silencer modules effectively dampen platter resonances. The aluminum housing with CLD technology further controls resonances, and the speed can be precisely regulated via a sub-platter double belt with fine adjustment.

The Typhoon NEO is prepared for three tonearms and offers up to three adjustable armboards for 9- to 12-inch tonearms, providing maximum flexibility for different setups.

TONEARM – TA-7000 NEO

The TA-7000 NEO represents the pinnacle of tonearm technology. The conical carbon tonearm tube with integrated 3D damping effectively reduces resonances, while the preloaded, frictionless, high-precision gimbal ball bearing ensures accurate tracking.

The internal wiring made of 4N pure silver, combined with the Atlas Equator phono cable, ensures lossless signal transmission. VTA, azimuth, and anti-skating adjustments, as well as the brass counterweight, allow for precise matching to high-quality cartridges. A solid titanium headshell is available as an option.

The TA-7000 NEO is available in 9-inch or 12-inch versions and is mounted via the SME standard.

MCX4

The MCX4 moving-coil cartridge is the reference model of the MCX series. Its nude Shibata stylus ensures precise groove tracking, while gold-plated OFC copper coils transmit signals with minimal loss. The CNC-machined, resonance-optimized aluminum housing minimizes unwanted vibrations and promotes clear, dynamic music reproduction.

With its compliance, the MCX4 is ideally suited for medium to heavy tonearms such as the TA-7000 NEO.
